Is a driver chosen by wattage alone?

No. Output type and voltage, environmental rating, dimming compatibility and installation temperature all matter. Confirm the complete load and control configuration before ordering.

Do the Matter converters need a Thread border router?

The listed Everglow Matter converters use Wi-Fi. Confirm the exact device, compatible Matter controller and supported functions before purchase.
