What we need to quote it right.

Size the heat load

Give the enclosure dimensions, installed losses (W), mounting position and the ambient minimum and maximum. Fans, air conditioners and heaters are selected from the temperature difference, not by model size.

Keep the IP rating

Every cut-out is a path for dust and water. Match fan-filter, outlet filter, cable entry and gland ratings to the enclosure IP rating and the site environment.

Match conductors and current

For terminal blocks and busbars, give conductor cross-sections, rated current and voltage, and the connection type (screw, spring or push-in).

Approvals for Australia

Switchboard and control-panel assemblies are built to AS/NZS 61439 and wired to AS/NZS 3000. Confirm the component approvals your panel builder or specification requires.

Yes. Send the enclosure size, material, installed losses and site temperatures with your RFQ and we propose filter fans, air conditioners or heaters with a thermostat or hygrostat for the duty.
